Everything about Ridgmont totally explained
Ridgmont is a small village beside
M1 junction 13, in the
English county of
Bedfordshire. It isn't far from
Milton Keynes and
Woburn Abbey, and its population is estimated as 410.
It is probably best known for the large
Amazon.co.uk warehouse beside
Ridgmont railway station, just over a mile away on the other side of the motorway. The warehouse is on the site of the former Ridgmont Brickworks, which was built in 1935 by the Ridgmont
Fletton Brick Company. In 1979, as part of the
London Brick Company, the works had 25 chimneys and was said to be the second-largest
brickworks in the world.
